Your role

 

This position is a field-based Medical Advisor, and you will cover the Northern part of Sweden (Greater Stockholm and north) and Finland. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key experts within Dermatology in these regions, while also executing the Nordic medical affairs plan. This will require a high level of autonomy and flexibility, as you will be working remotely and traveling to different locations as needed (approx. 60-70% field presence). You will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and market access teams to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.

 

You will:


•    Develop and execute the Nordic strategic scientific medical plan and follow up on its execution according to milestones.
•    Interact proactively and reactively with key external experts within Dermatology and implement scientific presentations, expert meetings, advisory boards, and/or assimilated activities across the Nordics.
•    Plan and execute Nordic life-cycle activities through the implementation of global and/or local Phase IIb-IV, NIS (Non-interventional studies), IIS (Investigator-initiated studies) in close collaboration with top-tier experts in Dermatology, LEO`s Global Scientific Affairs teams, and other relevant global functions.
•    Interact with key experts to ensure our products are adequately positioned in national/local guidelines and/or recommendations.
•    Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and market access teams.
•    Represent the Medical Affairs and Nordic Strategic Team for the relevant product or Therapy Area and provide scientific input into the commercial strategy.
•    Review and approve promotional material across and ensure the promotion of our product is medically and scientifically accurate.
•    Educate internal staff about medical and scientific topics relevant to the commercialization of our product portfolio.
•    Collect scientific competitive intelligence.
•    Attend relevant scientific meetings and provide structured feedback on emerging clinical and scientific data.
•    Establish professional and credible peer-to-peer relationships with key experts of strategic importance and ensure qualitative medical and scientific exchanges.
•    Deliver unsolicited requests for scientific presentations to both small & large audiences.
•    Plan, align, and deliver on the plan, provide business insights, build a network, manage ambiguity, and collaborate with stakeholders.
 

Your qualifications

 

If you are a scientific or medical professional with strong dermatology experience from at least one of the Nordic countries and good scientific and pharmaceutical product knowledge, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for an action-oriented, results-driven, strategic thinker who is customer-oriented and has excellent communication and public speaking skills.

 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 


•    Scientific / Medical Professional background needed (Ph.D., MD, PharmD, Specialist Nurse, Nurse)
•    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
•    Support clinical trials by identifying potential investigators and engaging with research sites.
•    Experience with running studies across Nordics, collaborating on projects.
•    Proven ability to establish and grow relationships with key external experts and HCPs.
•    Experience engaging key stakeholders on disease state, population health, and patient care challenges.
•    Ability to uncover strategic insights and competitive intelligence through scientific exchanges and medical congress participation.
•    Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying scientific and clinical data.
•    A valid driver’s license is required.

You will work with a team of 4 Medical Advisors across Nordics, focusing on Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
