Your Role

As an MSL at LEO, you will be a trusted scientific partner internally and a sought-after expert externally. You’ll provide strategic input, deliver medical insights, and communicate complex data in relatable ways – all to shape robust disease state understanding and brand strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining up-to-date clinical and scientific expertise in relevant therapeutic areas
• Identifying, engaging and building effective relationships with external experts across the North of England.
• Sharing credible, balanced scientific data and responding to product queries
• Capturing external insights to inform medical strategies and actionable plans
• Delivering clear, engaging educational presentations
• Supporting clinical trials by connecting with potential investigators and research sites
• Contributing to research productivity via ISS, Phase I–IV, NIS and HEOR studies
• Facilitating evidence exchange to update guidelines and expert presentations
• Driving industry-wide best practice for MSL standards and capability
• Collaborating with medical, operational, and commercial teams across LEO.
• Championing medical education initiatives
• Attending key external and internal meetings to remain at the forefront of the field
• Embracing innovation and adopting new approaches to maximise MSL impact
• Ensuring compliance with ABPI Code of Practice and all relevant regulations

Your Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent) preferred
• ABPI Qualified
• Proven experience as an MSL or relevant medical/scientific experience is required
• Deep knowledge of dermatology or related therapeutic area.
• Natural ability to clearly communicate complex data in a compelling way
• Experience of engaging Key Opinion Leaders and delivering impactful and educational presentations
• Understanding of clinical trials and evidence-based medicine
• Ability to gather insights to inform medical strategy
• Innovative mindset to enhance MSL effectiveness
• Willingness and ability to travel across the North of England
