Role Description


The Medical Manager is a hybrid strategic role that combines the responsibilities of a Medical Advisor and a Medical Scientific Liaison. In this role as Medical Manager - Korea, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional medical and scientific expertise and engagement within the healthcare community. You will also collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams to lead the pre-launch medical strategy building and execution of activities for this innovative dermatology product. This role requires conducting fieldwork up to 60% of the time, depending on the product life cycle and dynamics.

Your key responsibilities

•    Medical Affairs Strategy and Activities Planning
•    Develop Publication Plan and Congress/Conference Plan
•    Foster and Conduct Scientific Exchange with Key External Experts (KEEs)
•    Communicate Up-to-Date Scientific Information and Medical Insights Internally
•    Facilitation of Research Initiatives
•    Internal/External Training and Communication

Your qualifications 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related medical/scientific fields
•    Previous field-based experience required
•    Pharmacist or MSc /PhD degree preferred
•    Hands-on experience with product launches preferred
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to network
•    Proficiency in both written and verbal English
•    Experience in publication in international journals and/or local/regional/global medical congresses preferred
•    Ability to research scientific literature, and write reports, papers, and research protocols preferred
•    Previous experience in dermatology will be a plus but not mandatory
•    Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
•    High levels of integrity and ethical behavior compatible with company culture and patient-centricity
•    Adaptive and agile in evolving conditions
