Your role

As an HSE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous development of Health, Safety and Environment practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with local and global HSE regulations and LEO Pharma policies.
• Leading risk assessments and proactively identifying safety improvements for employee well-being and operational safety.
• Monitoring environmental impact and implementing sustainability initiatives to align with LEO Pharma’s green goals.
• Providing hands-on expertise and advice to departments regarding best practices for health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Conducting HSE-related training and awareness programs for employees and teams across the organization.
• Investigating incidents, reporting findings, and preparing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to maintain high safety standards and achieve certification goals.
• Continuously reviewing, updating, and implementing HSE processes to ensure operational excellence.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

•  A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Health and Safety, or equivalent relevant field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in an HSE-focused role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.
• Solid knowledge of HSE legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
