Your role

As General Manager, you will set the direction for LEO Pharma Germany, with full P&L responsibility for the German dermatology business and legal accountability across the affiliate. Reporting to the EVP International Operations, you will translate global strategy into local priorities, deliver sustainable growth and champion patient-centred solutions. You will also strengthen LEO Pharma’s role as a trusted partner in the German dermatology ecosystem.

Your priorities will be to:

• Deliver sustainable growth: Own business performance, profitability and portfolio lifecycle management.
• Lead launch excellence: Prepare the organisation for innovative products while growing the established portfolio.
• Advance commercial innovation: Develop effective go-to-market models, digital customer engagement and the affiliate’s AI agenda.
• Build organisational capability: Recruit, develop and engage talent, leading change with clear accountability.
• Advance patient impact and partnerships: Drive patient-centred solutions and strengthen LEO Pharma’s contribution to the German dermatology ecosystem through collaboration with healthcare professionals, patient organisations, authorities and other key partners.

Across these priorities, you will ensure that business decisions, partnerships and ways of working uphold applicable laws, industry codes and LEO Pharma’s values.

The role offers the scope to shape country strategy and contribute beyond Germany through international leadership forums and global commercial initiatives.

Your qualifications

You bring senior pharmaceutical leadership experience and the ability to connect strategy, commercial execution and organisational development. Your experience includes:

• Leading a pharmaceutical business in a major market, with a successful track record of P&L responsibility.
• Launching and/or growing biologic, immunology or other innovative therapies.
• Scaling commercial teams and delivering transformation, restructuring or change programmes.
• Managing portfolio lifecycles, implementing diverse go-to-market models and applying AI in commercial settings.
• Experience collaborating across international, multicultural matrix organisations, with fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.

You combine strategic thinking with curiosity and sound judgement, giving people clear direction while navigating complexity and change. Your leadership builds engagement, encourages innovation and makes accountability and compliance part of everyday performance.

Your new team

You will lead 10–14 direct reports and work across the German affiliate, partnering with global colleagues in Medical Affairs, Finance, HR, Compliance and other support functions. Collaboration with works councils and employee groups will also be an important part of your network. Together, you will build capabilities, strengthen engagement and deliver shared commercial priorities.
