In Medical Affairs  you will support high value engagement and collaboration with specialist dermatologists and other healthcare stakeholders.Sharing and acting on data-driven insights to positively impact patients living with skin conditions, you will strategically engage with HCPs to uncover unmet patient needs and inform treatment decisions.

Your role

 

•    Field-based scientific and clinical resource who builds strong relationships with healthcare professionals and engages regarding evidence-based disease state and treatment related medical information. 
•    Facilitate research and educational initiatives and support requests for medical and scientific information on our products
•    Ensure that key stakeholders are appropriately and compliantly educated on disease state, population health and patient care challenges
•    Attend relevant scientific meetings and identify key data to be shared with internal colleagues
•    Support unsolicited research requests and identify and nominate potential clinical investigators LEO Pipeline. Support initiation of trials, and foster strong solutions-oriented communication throughout ongoing LEO Pharma sponsored studies
•    Identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions to advance patient care through scientific exchange, clinical research, and publications
•    Present and/or moderate advisory boards
•    Create medical slides for review and approval, as requested
•    Develop and Lead in product and disease state training, including ongoing upskilling education sessions. 
•    Act as the primary reviewer and approver of advertising, promotional, educational and training material and checking all references to substantiate claims.
•    Work in collaboration with the marketing team to provide input into developing key messages and promotional claims that are substantiated

Your qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:


•    Ph.D., MD, DO, PharmD, or other advanced scientific degree strongly preferred
•    Previous Medical Affairs experience preferred 
•    Dermatology or immunology background is a plus
•    3-5+ years prior experience working in pharmaceutical industry or related experience with medical/scientific focus
•    Thorough understanding of Dermatology or Immunology and clinical research, clinical practice experience preferred
•    Ability to develop and execute strategic territory plans
•    Ability and willingness to travel ~40% of the time
•    Understanding of current pharmaceutical climate and applicable laws and regulations
