In the Market Access & External Affairs team we are seeking our new Nordic Strategic Access Initiatives Manager, who will lead and execute outcome driven external affairs and strategic partnership activities across the Nordics to secure reimbursement, protect sustainable pricing and remove barriers to patient access. The role connects local market needs with global strategy to deliver measurable impact and maximize the value of LEO Pharma’s portfolio for patients and healthcare systems. Key responsibilities include recognizing barriers to patient care and implementing targeted strategies and tactics to overcome them.

 
Your role in key responsibilities

This role sits in the Nordic Market Access & External Affairs team and requires strong cross‑functional collaboration with Nordic colleagues across Marketing, Medical, Sales and colleagues in Global Public Affairs.

Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop and execute integrated external affairs and communication strategies aligned with global and local LEO strategy to strengthen LEO Pharma’s position and reputation across the Nordics.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, including defining project plans, leading execution, and monitoring performance against relevant KPIs.
• Build, manage, and grow strong, outcome‑driven partnerships with patient advocacy organizations, policymakers, healthcare professionals, networks, and external vendors, including ownership of the Iceland affiliate partnership.
• Lead Nordic integration of late‑stage, non‑core assets on an ad hoc basis, ensuring alignment across markets and cross‑functional teams.

Market Access Support

• Support launch preparation and post launch optimization by ensuring external stakeholder insights and policy developments are translated into concrete actions for the strategic brands.
• Initiate and lead projects with patient organizations that demonstrably support HTA outcomes, launch success or post launch uptake.
• Shape the Nordic policy environment to protect pricing, improve patient access and support innovation, with a clear focus on outcomes.

External Representation & Industry Influence

• Drive and lead public affairs execution in priority Nordic markets, actively participating in relevant national networks and industry associations to contribute expertise and influence policy and market access developments from a Nordic LEO Pharma perspective.
• Represent LEO Pharma externally in a credible, pragmatic, and value‑adding manner, with a strong focus on collaboration and solution‑oriented engagement with stakeholders.
• Organize and deliver the democracy festivals across the Nordics in line with the overall LEO strategy, in close collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

To excel as our Nordic Strategic Access Initiatives Manager, you’ll bring the following experience and characteristics:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Health Economics, Business, Public Affairs, Political Science, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical market access, public affairs, external affairs, or public policy
• Strong understanding of the Nordic market access landscape
• Proven stakeholder engagement and partnership experience
• Fluency in English is required. Additional fluency in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish is highly desirable due to collaboration with Nordic stakeholders.
