Your Role
The Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy & Trade Relations will manage and measure the execution of the LEO Pharma, US. Distribution Strategy and achieve corresponding support/service objectives for assigned retail and specialty pharmacy customers. The Associate Director, Specialty Pharmacy & Trade Relations will also be responsible for developing and leveraging innovative industry-leading customer service capabilities.
This role will ensure that internal and external requests are addressed in a timely fashion, to monitor the in-channel supply chain and identify potential risks and suggest corrective actions. The individual in this role will collaborate in both strategy and tactical execution of the Pharmacy network strategy as it relates to Trade, Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Field Reimbursement, HUB and patient support/assistance.
Your Responsibilities
• Develop, manage, and implement innovative pharmacy partnerships, including contracts, to support network strategy for both existing and new products (primary focus on LEO's current retail product, Anzupgo)
• Develop and maintain an integrated business plan, which explores pharmacy opportunities and monitors contract progress and performance.
• Measure program performance on a monthly and quarterly basis, communicating results to leadership, and cross functional teams
• Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with network pharmacies
• Actively participate in cross-functional efforts to address broad-based cus-tomer service needs and ensure implementation of solutions.
• Develop and execute account-based product distribution / inventory man-agement plans aligned to current and future brand strategy, including gross/net financial goals.
• Partner with Data Analytics to ensure data integrity and adequate data flows between the company and pharmacy partners
• Develop distribution related policies and procedures as needed within channel
• Develop, manage, and implement business rules at pharmacy in partnership with Brand Marketing, Payer Marketing and Market Access to meet brand goals
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 7+ years’ pharma industry experience, with 3+ years of specialty or retail pharmacy experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with managed markets and/or trade, including contracting and negotiations
- Strong understanding of Trade processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements; experience working with a sales force
- Ability to build relationships and expand LEO's presence with re-tail/specialty customers
- Able to build business case for any proposed initiatives and present to senior leadership
- Ability to travel overnight 25% (travel consists of working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry meetings, and working with key customers)
- Managed market, specialty or retail pharmacy and trade/supply chain ac-count relationships a strong plus
- Experience in dermatology retail pharmacy a strong plus
- Demonstrated contract negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, strategic and influencing skills
The base salary range for this position is $162,000 - $215,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
