Position Objective:

• This position will play a critical role in planning, prioritizing, leading and managing launch activities and deliverables; orchestrating key meetings; and developing and delivering strategic brand presentations to executive leadership.

• Furthermore, the individual will be responsible for developing processes and structures to support launch workstreams and the execution of plans. The individual will work closely with the commercial workstreams supporting the launch readiness. This will include planning meetings, coordinating agendas, managing timelines, follow ups and communication, managing interdependencies or overlaps with other workstreams, escalating issues/risks as necessary and monitoring KPIs and objectives.

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Workstream and launch plan reporting

• Global launch readiness presentations

• Strategic planning and Presentations to Management

• Business case development and revisions

• Operating plans and budget

• Maintain close collaboration with extended team to plan and execute the integrated launch plan, including driving consensus on goals, objectives and deliverables

• Project management for overall integrated launch plan

• Plans and completes cross-functional communications, meetings and events

• Monitors launch team performance with team and provides regular reports on agreed brand milestones/KPIs.

• Communicates action due dates and tracks/monitors progress and performance.

• Identifies issues and risks and escalates as necessary

• Monitors progress against key KPIs and launch objectives

• Maintains SharePoint and or similar sites and updates content and access

• Drive, manage and coordinate numerous projects within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Is highly organized, meets project deadlines and proactively delivers on business objectives.

• Exhibits a culture of integrity, excellence, initiative and compliance.

• Responsible for compliance with applicable LEO Policies and procedures. 

• Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline.

Requirements: 

• Proven track record of effective product launch leadership experience in a life sciences organization e.g., pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device company

• BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

• 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotech organizations

• 3 years of Project/Program management experience in a life sciences organization e.g., pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device company

• Proven track record of effective project leadership

• Dermatology experience and prior biologics experience strongly desired

• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership

• Technology savvy, business oriented and nimble learning abilities required

• Financial acumen

• Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity; experience operating in a global environment a plus

• Ability to lead through influence

• Highly organized, meets project deadlines and quality expectations and proactively delivers on business objectives

• Proficient at developing motivating presentations

• Exemplifies a culture of integrity, excellence, initiative and compliance

• The ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 10%)
