Your role:

Your role will be to manage and lead a team of Global Safety Advisors and Associates in Global Safety Surveillance, Section 1 (employed and contracted).
The primary goal is to manage workload, maximize resources and build capabilities of the employees, while facilitating a good atmosphere with a team that helps and support each other.

 

Your primary work tasks will include:

  • People and performance management incl. performing regular 1:1s and development talks.
  • Mentoring, training, and coaching team members.
  • To oversee the products and tasks assigned to the teams by mobilizing the assigned team members to meet agreed objectives and targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the safety profile is up to date for the products/projects assigned to the team by e.g.
  • Ensuring writing and to review Aggregated Safety Reports, RMPs and safety sections required in documents such as CCSI/core SmPC or CDDS and other relevant safety reports.
  • Ensuring preparation of responses and reports to Regulatory Authorities and other parties.
  • Ensuring signal detection and medical assessment is performed.
  • Together with the Global Safety Surveillance leadership team set the strategy for the department and lead implementation initiatives.
     

Your qualifications

  • University degree in health or biomedicine science (MD, MSc, MSc Pharm, or equivalent)
  • Working experience in a project oriented, international organization, preferable a minimum of 5 years within safety surveillance.
  • Formel or informal leadership experience will be an advantage.
  • Strong medical/scientific knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of global (EMA/FDA/ICH) regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent verbal and written English.
  • Strategic thinking, influencing and collaboration.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft office package and Internet communication and search facilities).
