Your role

The Master Data Architect will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our master data systems. Main focus will mainly be within the SAP Business Suite 7 environment with SAP ECC as core, SAP APO and SAP SRM. This position requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data governance, and SAP master data cross dependencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing master data in a complex, fast-paced pharmaceutical setting.

•    Design and implement master data architecture strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
•    Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
•    Collaborate with functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
•    Lead the integration of master data across various primarily but not only SAP systems and modules, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.
•    Monitor and optimize data quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
•    Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for master data management .
•    Conduct regular audits and assessments of master data systems to identify areas for improvement.
•    Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture and SAP functionalities.
•    Prepare SAP master data for S/4HANA journey.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

•    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in master data management, with a focus on SAP ECC and SAP APO.
•    Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
•    Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
•    Proficiency in SAP ECC and related data management tools.
•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
•    Glasswing add-on knowledge as a plus
