Your Role 

As a Senior Service Owner WAN you will manage the end-to-end delivery of WAN Network services, including outsourced providers and external Network (ISP) vendors. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of contracted services, ensuring quality and budget adherence, and addressing network issues or failures. 

  • Owning and managing the LEO Pharma IT WAN Network lifecycle and maintaining Blueprints for WAN Network services. 

  • Ensuring network services are right-sized, cost-optimized, and meet required security standards as defined by LEO CISO. 

  • Managing and optimizing licensing and maintenance costs for network devices across the full lifecycle. 

  • Establishing, maintaining, and developing relationships with the Line of Business and acting as a focal point for IT Service Providers. 

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives for Network groups and ensuring new Network initiatives are successfully handed over to support. 

  • Producing and presenting reports to GDBS and LoB stakeholders, and maintaining key guiding principles, templates, and other materials. 

 

Your Qualifications 

To excel in this role, you will need: 

  • Knowledge and experience with network services and a solid experience (at least 3-5 years) within Service Delivery Management. 

  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent. 

  • Certifications in relevant functional areas of service delivery, such as Cisco, ITIL, GAMP. 

  • Experience with GxP, pharma IT compliance, and release/validation activities if GxP systems are part of the application portfolio. 

  • Functional and technical understanding of relevant solutions and integration with third-party, on-premise, and cloud-based platforms. 

  • Experience in reviewing documentation such as user requirements, release notes, validation plans, and reports. 

  • Proficiency in verbal and written English, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask and think ahead. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills. 

  • Enterprise thinking and focus on improved innovation, agility, and organizational learning. 

  • Building collaborative relationships, managing conflicts, having a collaborative mindset, and facilitation skills.
