Your role

As the Payroll Process Owner, you will be responsible for the payroll process for 27 countries across the globe, working in tight collaboration with finance, legal and other key stakeholers throughout the organization. Your key tasks will include:

• Own the end-to-end process flow for the payroll processes, ensuring that all steps are clearly defined and understood.
• Understand the relevant risks within the processes and the internal controls in place to mitigate those risks.
• Be accountable for implementing local and global payroll process changes within the assigned scope. Identify areas for cross-process alignment and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Implementing checks and balances, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of their payroll processes, protect sensitive employee data, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Be responsible for process design, improvement, and documentation, which implies continuously looking for ways to streamline and optimize the processes internally and with our vendors.
• Support outsourced HR activities, ensuring compliance and sharing best practices.
• Participate as an SME in any payroll outsourcing projects.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in running payroll for multiple countries
• Strong Business Experience in Success Factors and HR related Applications
• Proven knowledge of payroll processes, systems
• Finance background is considered a plus
• Ability to work with a wide range of business and Success Factors professionals.
• Fluent in English

Additionally, you should have the ability to work independently, be organized and rigorous, and possess excellent communication skills.
