Your Role
As a Senior Data Analyst for Commercial, you will leverage your expertise in the pharmaceutical and commercial sectors to contribute to the achievement of Analytics and Automation strategic goals. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing and streamlining the utilization of data by our customers, empowering them to make informed strategic decisions through reliable and standardized data and analytics solutions.
- Fostering a robust data and analytics culture by engaging in proactive strategic partnerships with business units, developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions that are consistently utilized and integrated into business processes.
- Defining the direction and strategy for the function by understanding customers’ data and analytics needs, translating them into insightful solutions and robust processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing a reputation as a trusted partner and subject matter expert within the area.
- Identifying, tracking, and reporting on KPIs, acting as a sparring partner for the line of business on relevant and feasible metrics.
- Proactively consulting with senior stakeholders on ad-hoc analytical projects, advising on best practices and identifying global use cases.
- Supporting the line of business by providing training on tools and techniques and helping translate complex data into actionable insights as needed.
- Staying up to date with technological developments to optimize BI solutions within LEO Pharma.
- Independently driving cross-functional projects related to your area of expertise using structured project management tools.
- Developing, maintaining, and automating data workflows, datasets, reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a highly qualified professional with:
- A master’s degree.
- At least 3 years of business analytical experience with a track record of quantitative data analysis and data modeling.
- At least 2 years of experience in data partnering/analytics within the supported area (e.g., Commercial, Sales).
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate and Power App).
- Programming experience with DAX or SQL.
- Experience conducting statistical analyses in e.g., STATA, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python (nice to have).
- Knowledge of Veeva CRM, Snowflake, and dBT (an advantage).
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
