SAP DRC Consultant (SAF‑T & e‑Invoicing Specialist) 

This role operates in a highly regulated environment and collaborates closely with Finance, Tax, IT, Quality, and external authorities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant statutory reporting. You will ensure that the organization meets evolving local legal requirements while maintaining a harmonized, compliant, and auditable SAP landscape, primarily in SAP ECC.

Your role 

In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions with a strong focus on SAF‑T, statutory reporting, and e‑invoicing across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities:  

• Design, configure, implement, and support SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) for SAF-T reporting across multiple countries, aligned with OECD and local statutory requirements.
• Lead end-to-end SAF-T project lifecycle activities, including country-specific adaptations for jurisdictions such as Portugal, Poland, Norway, Romania, Lithuania, and others.
• Ensure statutory reporting compliance across Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger, where applicable.
• Implement and support e-invoicing and real-time reporting models, including clearance, post-audit, middleware, external platform, and government portal integrations.
• Partner with SD, MM, FI, Tax, Finance, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure data quality, process alignment, and complete statutory reporting outputs.
• Design controls and documentation to ensure data integrity, consistency, traceability, reproducibility of SAF-T extracts, and provide executive-level status updates.

Your qualifications 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP DRC, primarily in SAP ECC environments.
• Proven expertise in SAF-T implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI, with solid exposure to MM and SD integration points.
• Experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Experience working in multinational, regulated environments, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with Finance, Tax, Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other GxP-regulated industries.
• Exposure to e-invoicing, real-time reporting, and digital tax transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and SAP Notes related to DRC and compliance.
