Your role

You will be building and optimizing data solutions and helping introduce the new SAP Datasphere system, while aligning it with our Snowflake AWS platform. You’ll collaborate with architects, manage integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems, and ensure smooth daily operations with high data integrity. 

Key responsibilities:

• Safeguard data integrity and perform reconciliations across SAP systems (BDC, BW, BPC, IBP, SAC) for supported business areas.
• Lead the introduction and governance of SAP Datasphere, aligning data solutions with Snowflake AWS and best‑practice development principles.
• Act as the data engineering expert, ensuring solid documentation, robust coding practices, code reviews, and DEV/TEST/PROD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with IT, architects, and business teams to integrate SAP and non‑SAP systems smoothly.
• Maintain SAP BDC systems by managing master data changes, answering tickets and queries, handling troubleshooting via ServiceNOW, and coordinating updates/actions.
• Drive improvement projects to optimize SAP data processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement standardized practices.
• Support accurate, timely reporting and analytics across SAP BDC and Nucleus, responding to high‑priority ad‑hoc business requests.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications/experience: 

• Strong knowledge of data and reporting systems (e.g., SAC, BW, BPC, IBP) or similar cloud-based tools, with experience in data modelling (BDC/Datasphere an advantage).
• Proficient in SQL; knowledge of additional programming languages is an advantage.
• Familiar with data engineering, governance, and best practices for coding repositories and release pipelines in a cloud context.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on high-quality delivery.
• Collaborative, service-minded team player with excellent communication skills, supporting ticket resolution and operational stability.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, curious and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
