Your Role
As an RTR Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of Record-to-Report activities. From bank reconciliations to fixed asset management, you will play a central role in financial operations while identifying areas for process optimization and supporting audit and reporting requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing bank statement postings and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Posting, reviewing, and validating manual journal entries, adhering to required approvals and documentation.
- Leading intercompany netting and payment activities, ensuring timely settlements and reconciliations.
- Overseeing fixed asset accounting, including postings, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Preparing and clearing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving open items.
- Acting as a key contact for RTR-related queries and process escalations.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities with accurate reporting and documentation.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards and internal control frameworks.
Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Shared Service Center or corporate finance environment.
- Proficiency in SAP FI and familiarity with reconciliation tools.
- Solid knowledge of Record-to-Report processes, including reconciliations and month-end close.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS standards and internal controls.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- An analytical, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to prioritize and manage timelines, particularly during month-end and year-end close activities.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

You will join the Global Business Services Finance Team in Gdańsk and collaborate with a network of finance professionals dedicated to delivering operational excellence. Working with teams from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and Controlling, you’ll contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and process innovation while ensuring compliance and accuracy across all financial operations.
