Your role
We seek a skilled developer with a comprehensive understanding of Power Platform tools and technologies. The role involves supporting and optimizing existing applications, collaborating with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions, and leading the design and deployment of scalable Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will drive DevOps best practices, optimize application life cycle management (ALM), and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems. Additionally, they will mentor junior team members, engage in code reviews and testing, document development processes, and stay updated on the latest advancements within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query.
• Lead initiatives to enhance automation, efficiency, and scalability in Power Platform development and operations.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing Power Platform applications.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, senior developers, and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements effectively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Oversee the version control and deployment process, ensuring consistency across diverse environments.
• Implement comprehensive ALM practices to effectively manage Power Platform solutions, environments, and configurations.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reports.
• Integrate the Power Platform with external systems and APIs, ensuring data consistency and optimal performance.
• Optimize solutions for superior performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define and enforce governance policies for the Power Platform, encompassing environment provisioning, security roles, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
• Ensure strict adherence to organizational compliance, security, and privacy standards.
• Implement advanced monitoring tools to track application performance and proactively address any issues.
• Take the lead in troubleshooting complex technical challenges in both development and production environments.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting expertise for Power Platform applications.
• Participate actively in code reviews and testing to ensure the delivery of top-notch deliverables.
• Thoroughly document development processes and application configurations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expertise on Power Platform capabilities and industry best practices.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• More years of experience in Power Platform development and DevOps.
• Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, and Dataverse.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins).
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with ALM and deployment management for Power Platform solutions.
• Proven experience in JavaScript used in model-driven solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., APIs, connectors).
