Your Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Payroll services with a human touch. You will be responsible for executing payroll processes in few countries while acting as back up for any of the other countries handled in the team, if needed.


Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage payroll for selected markets per standards and legal regulations
  • Maintain payroll systems (LEO’s and vendors’)
  • Administer compensation, rewards, bonuses
  • Manage employee leave of absence and sickness
  • Execute payroll runs per global checklist and calendars
  • Manage pay components and work schedules
  • Participate in UAT testing of overall enhancements of payroll services
  • Raise change requests for payroll services
  • Participate in audits 
  • Manage payroll annual activities and validate vendor calendars
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from managers and employees
  • Resolve finance queries related to payroll
  • Collaborate with HR Ops and Payroll Specialists
  • Update payroll materials per standards
  • Follow and implement local legislation changes

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

 

  • Solid understanding and experience in payroll processes
  • Experience of working with different payroll data platforms and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software, experience with ServiceNow will be an advantage
  • Flexible and "can do" attitude aligned to the LEO values
  • Be open to changes, flexible, and easy to work with
  • Be curious, focus on finding solutions, able to work independently
  • Customer-focused mindset – able to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Collaborate effectively, building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals
  • Being passionate about and understanding need of being compliant with legislation and agreed ways of working; executing it in BAU payroll processing, seeking ways to meet its need or crafting ways to do so, when required
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), Spanish language is a strong advantage
