Your Role

As a Financial Controller, you will work within the Production Accounting, supporting critical financial processes while ensuring transparency and accuracy around costs and operations.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing analytical and operational support in product costing activities, including the annual costing run, ad-hoc analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Preparing management materials and contributing to presentations that drive decision-making.
  • Performing financial reconciliations and controlling tasks to support efficient day-to-day financial operations within the team.
  • Overseeing OPEX project controlling, managing month-end activities, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

 

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (an advanced degree such as MBA or MSc is a plus).
  • 3–5 years of experience in a related field of finance or accounting.
  • A solid analytical mindset, with the ability to handle large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Experience within the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience in working with SAP systems would be advantageous.

 

Your New Team

You’ll be joining the Product Supply Business Finance department, working alongside passionate and highly skilled colleagues. In addition to collaborating closely with the Global Lead of Product Costing (also based in Gdańsk), you’ll partner with Finance Business Partners for our various production sites and other internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain). Together, we ensure financial accuracy and efficiency across LEO Pharma’s global operations.
