Your role 

We are therefore looking for a Deputy Category Manager to define and execute category strategies, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. As a Deputy Category Manager, you will in close collaboration with Senior Category Managers accountable the category.   

Key responsibilities 

• Support development and implementation of the Global Category Strategy for selected CMO’s and API´s categories. 

• Ensure overview of risk and identify mitigating actions. 

• Maintain Supplier Relationship Management towards selected suppliers including governance, personal meetings, supplier evaluation across LEO facilitate, and resolve disputes. 

• Accountable for commercial aspect of the relationship with suppliers including price, payment terms, terms and conditions etc. 

• Execute and/or support RFX within Categories. 

Your qualifications 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: 

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, business, or a similar field.   

• Solid experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.   

• Experience from biotech, pharma, or another highly regulated industry is an advantage.   

• Experience leading procurement projects and implementing procurement setups in collaboration with stakeholders.   

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data and market intelligence into actionable category strategies.   

• International procurement experience is preferred.   

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
