Your role
Data Insights in life science are becoming increasingly critical for delivering new and transformative business insights and ultimately delivering better medicines faster to patients. To deliver on those promises and to become truly data-driven we are looking to augment our Data insights and automation team with an experienced Data Analyst.

 

•    Having the primary ownership to Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
•    Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
•    Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
•    Support a global user access concept using RLS concepts in Power BI.
•    Monitor data quality and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
•    Design and implement data models that support business analysis and reporting.
•    Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

 

Your qualifications

And you have the following qualifications:
•    A master's degree (we are open to all lines of study).
•    2+ years business experience and at least 1+ year experience within power BI and data flows
•    Proven track-record in developing dashboards in Power BI using Power Query and publishing them through workspaces in the cloud.
•    Fluency in written and spoken English.

It would be a plus:
•    Fluency in working with quantitative data, including a natural and critical sense for numbers.
•    Ability to independently manage own projects.
•    Experience building databases and advanced data models.
•    Competence within a coding language (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA) and an interest in learning more.

 

You have a learning mindset and a hands-on end-to-end problem solver who prefers to use the right tool for the job in close collaboration with your technical peers. You find it both motivating and interesting to optimize technical performance and maintainability using good practice methodologies, automation, and open-source toolkits.

 

Your new team
As our Data Analyst, you will work in a cross-functional team consisting of subject matter experts and technical experts. The team will be responsible for building and delivering use cases to support a data-driven enterprise. As part of the unit, you and the team are responsible for building smart and sustainable data products in close collaboration with the end users. The interaction and collaboration with other departments are very strong, using both shared projects and actual job rotations to foster cooperation and people development.
