Your role

As a Shipping Specialist at LEO Pharma, you will ensure the smooth and timely flow of products from our production sites, third-party manufacturers, and distribution centres to destinations worldwide. You will help ensure supply for our global markets, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellence in every shipment.

Key tasks

• Manage order handling, replenishment, and dispatch processes from defined sources to destinations.
• Coordinate transfers of finished goods, substances, and APIs to regional distribution centres, laboratories, and 3PLs.
• Liaise with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve challenges quickly.
• Ensure compliance with GDP/GxP requirements, Incoterms rules, and contractual standards.
• Provide accurate delivery information, prioritizing quality and flexibility.

You will also: ensure transport solutions are cost-effective and compliant, optimize operational routines, act as super user for shipping systems (SAP/ERP), participate in audits and stakeholder meetings, maintain audit readiness through meticulous documentation, and coach new colleagues to enable rapid onboarding to LEO’s standard of excellence.

Your qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled logistics professional experienced in international shipping, supply chain operations, and stakeholder coordination. You can thrive in dynamic environments, and always keep operational excellence in focus.

To succeed in the role you have:

• Background as shipping agent, freight forwarder, or similar role.
• Bachelor of Commerce, Business Diploma, or equivalent qualifications.
• Advanced SAP or other ERP system experience.
• Knowledge and application of Incoterms rules and export documentation processes.

While this is an independent role, your work will have a significant impact on the delivery process, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data alignment. The team is focused on continuous improvement, and you will play a key role in identifying and resolving system mismatches, setting priorities, and driving operational excellence.

This role offers a mix of operational tasks (2-3 days per week) and developmental opportunities focused on process and system improvements.
