Your role

As Senior Procurement Business Analyst, you will drive key initiatives that strengthen the procurement operating model, supplier management, AI adoption, and data-driven decision-making. You will lead strategic projects such as supplier segmentation and supplier risk management, develop insights across the supplier base, and support improvements to procurement systems, tools, and processes. The role also functions as Deputy to the Head of Procurement Excellence and offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Procurement Excellence projects, including supplier segmentation and supplier risk management.
  • Identifying and implementing relevant AI use cases within Procurement.
  • Co-managing the Supplier Relationship Management, SRM, system from a Procurement Excellence and data analytics perspective.
  • Developing procurement reports, dashboards, and decision-support tools in collaboration with IT.
  • Improving procurement systems, tools, processes, and governance, including vendor creation, approval flows, savings tracking, and source-to-pay solutions.

In addition, you will analyse spend, supplier data, market trends, macroeconomic developments, and their impact on the business. You will work closely with stakeholders across Procurement, IT, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and external system providers to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives, even where priorities or perspectives differ.

You will play a strategic role in developing new procurement tools and digital solutions, influencing how Procurement works with data, systems, and supplier insights across the organization.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical capabilities, solid project management skills, and experience working close to Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, or a procurement-supporting function. You should have hands-on experience with procurement systems, reporting, dashboard development, and process improvement, as well as the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for decision-making.

The most critical qualifications are:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement Excellence, or a related support function.
  • Strong systems experience, including Power BI, SRM systems, procurement platforms, reporting tools, data analytics tools, and digital procurement solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with IT on dashboard development, data models, reporting solutions, system improvements, or implementation of procurement tools.
  • Experience with procurement processes such as source-to-pay, sourcing, vendor creation, contract processes, supplier management, approval workflows, and savings registration.

Experience with systems such as Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, or similar procurement platforms is also beneficial. Previous team lead experience or experience managing cross-functional projects would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.

As a person, you are independent, proactive, analytical, and confident in driving initiatives forward. You have strong presentation skills, can prepare clear and convincing PowerPoint presentations, and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. You are collaborative, able to listen actively, draw conclusions, challenge constructively, and build strong relationships across functions.

Your new team

You will join the Procurement Excellence team, working closely with the Head of Procurement Excellence and acting as their deputy. The team is responsible for improving procurement processes, tools, systems, supplier management, analytics, and digital ways of working.

You will collaborate with Category Management, IT, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and external system providers to deliver strategic procurement improvements. The team plays an important role in shaping the future procurement operating model, including the implementation of new tools, AI use cases, dashboards, and source-to-pay solutions.
