Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to oversee SAP systems and other business-critical applications, particularly in Finance, HR, Procurement domains. You will manage the full delivery process, from incident resolution to enhancements, vendor coordination, and application onboarding. Acting as a bridge between IT and business, you will ensure smooth operations, compliance, and alignment with business priorities.

 

Your responsibilities

· Collaborate with business managers and process owners to understand and address demands and requirements

· Serve as the System Manager managing SAP systems related to Finance, HR, Procurement, Platforms and SAP satellites Applications

· Oversee service delivery, acting as the first escalation point for application-specific issues

· Manage vendor relationships and monitor day-to-day delivery of contracted services

· Handle area-related budgets, PO’s, and license management

· Ensure maintenance, upgrades, patching, and compliance requirements are met according to SLAs

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations

· Support the successful implementation of new applications with required quality and compliance

· Participate in go-live projects and release planning, ensuring smooth transitions to production

 

 

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

· Over 5 years of experience in Delivery-, System- and/or Application Management

· Solid ITIL knowledge with hands-on experience in ServiceNow or other ticketing systems, JIRA, and Azure DevOps; familiarity with ChaRM and Veeva would be an advantage

· Strong vendor management and negotiation skills

· Experience in Pharma Compliance (GxP, GAMP5) and the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry would be an asset

· Working proficiency in written and spoken English

You proactively solve problems and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure, and you excel at cross-functional communication and coordination to align stakeholders and drive projects forward.
