Role Description

Help build quality excellence across Eastern Europe — in a role where your structure, curiosity, and GDP mindset will make a visible impact from day one.

Join us in creating a future legacy in medical dermatology

At LEO Pharma, we are global leaders in medical dermatology. We have 118 years’ experience in bringing innovation to healthcare. And we are eager to do much more. Each year, close to 100 million people have a better day because of our medicines.

At LEO Pharma, how we work matters. We build trusted relationships and deliver with impact. We focus on where we can make the greatest difference and have the courage to explore new possibilities. We collaborate across boundaries and take accountability for our part. Here, you can grow, contribute with confidence, and make a meaningful difference together with others.

Your role

As Quality Assurance Specialist, you will step into a newly created role where you will help map, structure, and build quality ways of working across several Eastern European markets. Your focus will be to ensure compliant, practical, and effective GDP/GxP oversight for LEO Pharma affiliates and commercial or distribution partners, in line with applicable regulations and LEO Pharma global procedures.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Map quality responsibilities, warehouses, 3PLs, wholesalers, partners, and key contacts across assigned Eastern European countries.
  • Support and maintain local GxP Quality Management Systems, including training compliance, documentation, SOPs, work instructions, deviations, CAPAs, complaints, recalls, and returns.
  • Act as the primary quality contact for warehouses, wholesalers, affiliates, and partner markets when quality issues such as temperature excursions, product breakage, deviations, complaints, or returns occur.
  • Maintain quality agreements, support supplier qualification and audits, and help ensure inspection readiness across the region.
  • Contribute to quality process improvements and global projects.

The position is based in Poland, preferably Gdansk or Warsaw, with flexibility for remote work in Poland and occasional travel within Eastern Europe, expected to be up to 20%.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in pharmacy, biology, chemistry, life sciences, or similar is preferred.
  • Approximately 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality or distribution, supply chain.
  • Good understanding of GDP requirements and pharmaceutical distribution models; knowledge of GMP and Eastern European GxP environments is an advantage.
  • Experience with eQMS tools such as Veeva, TrackWise, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Strong digital skills, including Excel, Word, SharePoint.
  • Business-fluent English, both written and spoken, and knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage.

LEO Pharma is built on collaboration, innovation and curiosity. Is this you?

We are looking for someone structured, proactive, solution-oriented, digitally curious, and motivated by the chance to grow into a role that is still being shaped. You enjoy working independently across countries while staying closely connected to a small, supportive team.

Your new team

You will report to Quality Manager and become part of a small, collaborative quality team currently covering DACH and expanding its responsibility to Eastern Europe. You will work closely with stakeholders in Global Supply Chain, Quality Support, Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Compliance, Legal, and local affiliates.

Your work will also connect you with health authorities, 3PL providers, distribution partners, commercial partners, and outsourced service providers across Eastern European markets.
