Your role:

Act as the trusted business partner for the Nordic General Manager and be proactive- and senior member of the Nordic Leadership Team.

Drive revenue performance, ROI mindset of OPEX and financial options analysis to enable better decision making at the Leadership Teams for Business Units.

 

Your primary work tasks will include:

 

Business Partnering

  • Lead and manage the forecast process in the Nordic markets (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland & Iceland) covering the Established portfolio, Innovative portfolio, and Thrombosis – monthly sales forecast, quarterly business reviews and annual long-term sales forecast, both accounting for PIPX and without. Optimize these processes to minimize business partner distraction whilst delivering accurate and timely forecasts with insights which support and challenge the business strategy.
  • Lead the quarterly business review presentations. Provide both financial insights and business, people, and patient insights on all aspects of the business. Steer the Nordic Leadership Team, the Thrombosis Leadership Team and business partners through preparation of this presentation.
  • Lead long-term business cases for novel products, including business case development and presentations, ensuring a viable profitability profile in line with HQ benchmarks and KPIs while tailoring these to market specific dynamics. 
  • Identification of business opportunities, including assessment of potential threats and risk. Monitor, drive, communicate and propose corrective actions and assist in implementing action plans to ensure that the Nordic markets achieve financial KPIs for both Business Units.

 

Business Planning and Management Reporting

  • Set the tone for OPEX management in the Nordics. Lead OPEX budget review process, forecasting and analysis of spend. Deliver cost savings as required and find additional OPEX optimization opportunities. Optimize resource allocation across markets, departments and spend types, including headcount, to accelerate revenue growth. Lead processes to ensure that EBIT targets are met.
  • Liaise with finance service centers to ensure accuracy of monthly accounts, performing detailed checks on pricing, volume, revenue, OPEX and accruals.
  • Provide local leadership, gap analysis, change management and ongoing upscaling of the organization’s financial- and business acumen both for the Leadership teams as well as the organization as a whole.
  • Lead in-depth analysis and input into any business development opportunities and lead the local due diligence process for potential acquisitions. Lead financial and operational integration of acquisitions as well as the divestments of products.

 

Performance and Process Improvements

  • In collaboration with Commercial Supply ensure monthly demand review process and new Integrated Business Planning Tool is established and adopted leading to accurate monthly sales forecast output by Market on an Ex-LEO level while liaising closely with Business Intelligence (BI) and Supply Integrity (SI) to accurately reflect and account for market specific in-market trends when it comes to parallel trade.  
  • Act as the conduit between Procurement and the Nordic Leadership Teams to prioritize savings projects and ensure savings are delivered.
     

Your qualifications:

•    A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within economy, finance, ac-counting or business administrationr
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities and critical decision-making within very tight time constraints. 
•    Deep business understanding of own business area to be-come a trusted business partner and challenge the business when necessary
•    Expertise in finance, strategic analysis, and strategic thinking, supported by solid data analysis and problem-solving skills
•    Strong stakeholder management skills, navigating competing priorities incl. senior management
•    Analytic skills and ability to handle complex issues
o    English on a high level – both spoken and written
o    Mastering of one of the Nordic languages is an ad-vantage
