Your Role

 

We are looking for a Release Manager to join our global team. This role is pivotal in driving agile development principles, managing release processes, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and application management to deliver high-quality solutions while fostering an agile culture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and maintain agile development principles, processes, and good practices.
  • Manage Azure DevOps technical setups and ensure transparency of tasks.
  • Lead agile meetings, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Plan, create, and facilitate the release process while ensuring compliance and validation.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support migration processes and manage release calendars and sprints.
  • Coordinate activities between IT, architects, compliance teams, and application managers.
  • Perform capacity and availability planning for the team.
  • Support release and change management processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and run releases/sprints, features, User stories & tasks.
  • Runs the stand-up call & pre-alignment with team to keep their status updated on board, cross team collaboration and support team to progress on their tasks
  • Capacity & Availability planning for the team

 

Your Qualifications

 

As our new Release Manager, you bring expertise in Azure DevOps, GxP compliance, and release management, leveraging these skills to drive agile principles and ensure seamless operations across Leo’s factories in Europe.

To succeed in this role, you possess the following qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Release Manager in a pharmaceutical development team.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (process and technical perspective).
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodology and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of GxP compliance.
  • Familiarity with ERP applications (e.g., Oracle, LIMS) is considered as advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in a global environment.

You will join a dynamic, globally-focused team dedicated to operations and support, working with SAP and LIMS across two ERP systems. Based in Poland, the team includes SAP consultants, Solution Architects, and an Application Manager specializing in supply chain and manufacturing. The team also supports SAP modules for HR, procurement, serialization, and provides expertise in process support and system setup, ensuring comprehensive and seamless support worldwide.
