Commercial Website Solutions Analyst / CMS Developer

This role requires an experienced CMS specialist to help operate and evolve our global commercial web platforms. You’ll balance hands-on configuration and development with infrastructure and deployment stewardship. You’ll own the lifecycle of website features from design through release, ensure performance and compliance at scale, and be a trusted technical partner to marketing, medical/legal, and external vendors.

The team sits in the Global IT area responsible for data, analytics and AI, offering ample opportunities for interesting work and collaborations.

Your role

 

You will be responsible for providing ongoing functional support of existing and new website platforms, with a specific focus on supporting and advancing our commercial website solutions. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

 

· Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

· Create system and technical solution documentation, including detailed specifications, deployment pipelines, and operational playbooks.

· Support global content operations: localization and translation workflows, multi-language sites, governance, permissions, and templates/component libraries.

· Partner with marketing and analytics teams on SEO, analytics (GA4/Adobe Analytics), tag management, and A/B testing/feature flags.

· Collaborate with medical/legal/regulatory stakeholders; align with pharma compliance (e.g., review workflows, audit trails, adverse event reporting capture).

· Act as a subject matter expert and business consultant for internal stakeholders for Commercial systems and tools, with a specific focus on websites.

 

 

Your qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

 

· Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, or similar.

· Proven experience in web development and support, preferably in a commercial environment and experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.

· Proficiency in web fundamentals: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, REST/GraphQL APIs; familiarity with design systems.

· Experience operating global, multi-language sites and translation workflows.

· Working knowledge of analytics, technical SEO, and performance optimization

· Experience in creating documentation such as user requirements, test scripts and project plans.

· Understanding of API integrations and third-party tools

· Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on high-quality delivery and collaborative, service-minded team player with excellent communication skills.

· Fluent in written and spoken English, curious and eager to learn new tools and technologies - to support ticket resolution and operational stability.
