LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to position us globally as a mid-sized dermatology care partner addressing skin diseases with a high unmet medical need. To ensure we are on a path to drive growth, build a solid pipeline, our R&D organization has recently shifted to a Search & Develop model for innovation means that we will foster innovation by identifying molecules available externally that address clearly defined unmet needs. Therefore, the opportunity is for you to join a Business Finance team to support our Search & Development function.

Your role

As Business Finance Controller, you will contribute to strong financial control and transparency and report to the Head of S&D Finance.

Key tasks will include:

• Monthly closing: Drive monthly closing process together with the team, including accruals, monitoring and controlling expenses and understand the drivers of the variances.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Be part of planning and managing the S&D budget and forecasting future financial needs in your area, i.e Global Regulatory affairs, Global Safety etc.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing relevant financial reports and analysis to provide insights.
• Enhance the management of processes related to finance and provide analysis on an adhoc basis.

Your qualifications

• A master’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent, have up to 5 years’ experience.
• The ability to handle large amount of data in a structured way with detailed eyes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a tech-savvy attitude.
• A strong background in finance, accounting, and business analysis
• Fluency in English both spoken and written.

You excel in an environment that recognizes the importance of both flexibility and responsibility, enabling you to adapt to evolving situations while upholding accountability.
