Based within the dynamic LEO Pharma manufacturing facility in Dublin, the Senior Manager, Maintenance plays a pivotal role within our Technical Services Function. You will lead and deliver effective technical maintenance management across a diverse range of critical production areas, including Bulk Formulation, Filling and Packing, Aerosol Gassing, and Utilities. This position demands a proactive and autonomous approach as you collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, asset reliability, and sustained compliance on site. Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead production maintenance within FGMIE to embed “best in class” standards across site operations.
  • Build effective relationships across business units to ensure their needs are understood and expectations are consistently met.
  • Guide the resolution of technical deviations alongside manufacturing, ensuring robust countermeasures that improve Quality and Compliance.
  • Own and deliver solutions for complex maintenance engineering challenges in a timely way.
  • Participate in daily walkthroughs and visual management meetings to stay close to the front line and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to site‑wide goals, prioritising Safety, Quality, Customer Service and financial performance.
  • Foster a responsive, solution‑focused culture that enables rapid resolution of operational issues and sound decision‑making.
  • Provide resources and partner with Manufacturing Business Units to implement new or modified processes safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and coach team members to strengthen their technical, leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Introduce and champion new techniques and ideas to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with GPS value streams and site functions including local engineering, operations, and MSAT to align work and share best practice.
  • Work with strategic operations partners such as MSAT NS, Global EHS and GPS Portfolio Management to support broader site and global initiatives.
  • Engage with key internal stakeholders including Engineering Heads, Quality, Global IT, Sourcing, Planning/Customer Order Management, Laboratories and Finance to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers and engineering consultants to secure the right expertise and outcomes.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Process Engineering
  • MSc in Business/Operational Management and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is desirable.
  • Proven leadership in a pharmaceutical technical/engineering environment, with 10+ years’ experience and excellent operational background.
  • Skilled in applying Lean and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement; TPM experience in fast‑paced operations is advantageous.
  • Deep technical knowledge enabling equipment reliability improvements and high-performance delivery through team coaching.
  • Passionate, proactive influencer and collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic production setting.Top of Form
