Please note: This role is a 12-month fixed term contract and is based at our Dublin site, with remote working available 1 day a week. 

Your new role

To complete a range of activities as Qualified Person (QP) within the Quality Release Department relating to product release including, but not limited to: 

• Documentation review/ control, deviation approval, material status assignment/ disposition. 
• Product stability OOT/OOS data investigations, quality defect reports and quality data performance reporting. 
• Support for other Quality Systems activities relating to customer complaints, product recalls, Annual Product Quality Reviews, the process change control and quality inspection systems. 
• To provide QP support for the business units and laboratories

This position is responsible for assigning final status for all product lots manufactured by LEO Pharma. 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, the following qualifications are required: 

• Minimum of BSc Degree or equivalent third level education
• Qualified Person Status in accordance with EC Directives  
• Minimum 2 years, experience in a quality or production function within the pharmaceutical industry.

As a person you are a demonstrated self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach, possessing excellent interpersonal, decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills. 

Your new team

You will join a team of five QPs who are actively responsible for the compliance of their aligned business units and the release of all finished products from the Dublin site. You will closely  with the team and there is a large collective of experience within the team to support, cross train and develop competencies.  You will also work closely with the quality batch review team, which consists of eight quality specialists who provide on-line quality support and real time batch review.
