Your role

As the Environment & Employee Health and Safety (EHS)  Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Global EHS leadership team reporting to the Head of Global EHS with a dotted line to the Dublin Site Lead. You will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing the EHS function site-wide and ensuring compliance with EHS legislation .
  • Develop and maintain ISO EHS Certifications within ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001. 
  • Collaborating with the local technical development and supply to implement optimal EHS procedures and systems.
  • Leading site improvement initiatives, including LEAN, to focus on system improvements and waste reduction.
  • Communicating EHS issues, performance, and awareness to staff through various channels.
  • Promoting a culture of joint responsibility among employees for achieving health and safety .

 

This role is based at out Dublin Manufacturing site with some hybrid working options available and as part of your global role approx. 10-15 days of travelling is expected as well as developing and contributing to various global systems and processes. 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

 

  • Third level qualification degree (or higher) in Engineering or Science and/or relevant qualifications in Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Substantial experience in an EHS Management role in a multinational manufacturing organization is essential  and Pharmaceutical Industry experience is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with EHS ISO standards is an advantage. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
