Your role

You will lead the Global Market Access team to secure full value reimbursement for products and maintain value throughout their life cycle. Collaborate with Global Brand Leads to ensure team input aligns with asset and indication needs. Oversee a collaborative matrix setup with dotted-line reporting to brand leads. Drive functional excellence through projects like the Global Market Access Network, brand plans, and launch readiness, while fostering strong affiliate relationships. Stay ahead of external trends to enhance Market Access as a strategic, impactful function. You will lead a team of 8 market access managers.

•    Continue to build strong relationships across other functional areas, and ensure team is delivering high impact input
•    Adjust ways of working to ensuring the collaboration between market access managers and brand leads continue to be effective and high impact 
•    Drive prioritisation decisions across projects to deliver the largest business impact with available resources
•    Challenge current ways of working to deliver a new model for market access excellence
•    Ensure reimbursement for all assets, and value protection throughout the product life cycle 
•    Support Brand Leads to ensure market access considerations are reflected in all strategies and deliverables
•    Support Early Asset Lead to ensure market access insights are fully incorporated in early strategies
•    Lead high impact Global Market Access meetings and drive best practice sharing across affiliates
•    Identify policy trends and new access pathways and challenges, and prepare the organisation 
•    Work closely with VP of Asset and Payer Strategy, to present a unified vision of Market Access opportunities
 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

•    Master’s degree, 10-15 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry in a global headquarter function working with the pipeline from early stage until launch
•    Proven strong track record to solve complex global market access challenges, including extensive US, China, Japan and EU experience
•    Experience in building and executing innovative market access strategies
•    Exceptional stakeholder management & change management
•    Experience in navigating the organization from a process and people perspective to drive results 
•    Experience in planning and align without clear mandate and deal with ambiguity
•    Track record in working cross-functional 
•    At least 5 years of leadership experience
•    Excellent business understanding and knowledge of pharmaceutical processes
