Your role

As Vice President, Global Program Head (GPH), reporting to the Clinical Development Officer (CDO), you will have global accountability for the scientific, strategic, and operational success of assigned assets. You will act as the single point of accountability across the asset lifecycle—from early development through launch—working under a clear governance mandate.

This is a dual‑focus role. You will spend approximately 50% of your time leading active development programs through a Global Program Team, and 50% acting as senior Project Lead on due diligence opportunities in close collaboration with Business Development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Define and lead the global asset strategy, ensuring alignment with LEO Pharma’s portfolio priorities and dermatology focus.
• Provide strong scientific and strategic leadership across Development, Commercial, CMC, Supply, Finance, and key markets to deliver agreed milestones.
• Lead due diligence assessments for potential new assets, integrating cross‑functional input into clear recommendations, scenarios, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Own and drive the Target Product Profile (TPP) and integrated development strategy to support differentiated value and long‑term lifecycle potential.
• Represent programs and recommendations at senior governance forums, enabling informed, timely decision‑making.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

• An MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent scientific degree with 10–15 years of experience in global pharmaceutical drug development.
• Proven experience leading assets through late‑stage development and regulatory submissions, including FDA and EMA.
• Strong end‑to‑end understanding of drug development, spanning translational science, clinical strategy, regulatory pathways, and lifecycle management.
• A strategic and commercially aware mindset, with experience shaping Target Product Profiles and development strategies that enable access and value.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, global, cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
