Your role

As Student Assistant in Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) & Real-World Evidence (RWE), you will support projects that strengthen the evidence behind LEO Pharma’s assets. You will work with experienced colleagues to generate insights from patient data, contribute to health economic work and help communicate scientific findings. This is an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a global pharmaceutical setting while developing highly relevant skills for your future career.

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Assisting in the generation of real-world evidence from patient data.
  • Supporting health economic modelling activities.
  • Contributing to scientific publications and evidence communication.
  • Conducting systematic literature reviews.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the Global HEOR & RWE team and affiliates.


In this role, you will gain exposure to how evidence is developed and used to support decision-making in a global pharmaceutical company. You will be part of project work that may involve data interpretation, literature searches, publication support and preparation of materials for internal stakeholders.

 

Your qualifications


We are looking for a motivated master’s student with an interest in health economics, outcomes research, real-world evidence and the pharmaceutical industry. To succeed in this role, you should bring academic knowledge, analytical curiosity and the ability to work in a structured way with scientific information and data.

We imagine that you have:

  • You are currently studying a relevant master’s program e.g. public health, health economics, medical market access, biostatistics or a related field.
  • You are interested in epidemiology, health economics, statistics and data management.
  • You have an analytical mindset and are able to communicate complex data concisely.
  • You are able to perform statistical and economic analyses. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and the statistical program R is preferable.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector is beneficial.
  • You are comfortable with taking ownership of your own projects and presenting results to relevant audiences.
  • As LEO Pharma is an international company, you are comfortable communicating in English, both writing and verbally.


As a person, you are curious, detail-oriented and eager to learn. You enjoy working with complex information, take responsibility for your tasks and are comfortable asking questions when needed. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by contributing to projects that support better decisions for patients and healthcare systems.

 

Your new team & what we offer


You will join the Global HEOR & RWE team based in Ballerup, Denmark a team of seven colleagues with backgrounds in amongst others economics and public health. The team works to generate and communicate evidence that supports LEO Pharma’s portfolio and helps demonstrate the value of our treatments.
