Your role 

You will be responsible for people partnering within two Executive Vice President areas that are on a remarkable journey, transforming how they operate and continue to be on a journey to settle with our new Search and Develop model for bringing new treatments to our patients. The areas are Science, Search & Innovation (SSI) and Development who are responsible for advancing our product portfolio through clinical development.  

 

As a Senior HR Business Partner you will collaborate with executive leadership and other senior leaders to align organizational and people strategies with business goals. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving initiatives to support our transformation. 

 

Your main responsibilities will be 

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the two EVPs and their leadership teams in developing their functions, all the way from organizational design to change management and engagement strategies. 
  • Translate business objectives into meaningful people agendas that drive forward these objectives aligned with the Global People priorities.   
  • Lead initiatives in people development, leadership growth, and capability building to future-proof our organization. 
  • Analyse people data and external trends to deliver actionable insights that shape decision-making. 
  • Collaborate with our global HR community across functions and countries and be part of our Organizational Development Steering Committee to ensure alignment and foster a culture of innovation and raise the bar for leadership and organization. 

 

Right now, you will work with our Search & Develop organizations, however, we are looking for a new colleague that aspires to continue to learn and is flexible for next challenges in time. 

 

 

Your qualifications 

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner passionate about driving business-focused solutions, inspire leaders with a business-first approach to make sure we deliver the right impact and thrives with complexity in a dynamic purpose-driven organization.  

 

We imagine you have: 

 

  • MSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record and min. 8 years of experience from working in a complex organizational and international setting and an in-depth understanding of the people and organizational agenda in the same context.
  • Business before HR toolbox mindset and strong learning agility, preferably coupled with experience from an R&D environment or other complex businesses.
  • Strong strategic thinking and conceptual skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. 
  • Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively across cultural and geographical boundaries.
