Your role
You will effectively provide operational input to clinical development plans and programs with a strategic focus, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Project manage the execution of clinical development programs or parts thereof according to plans, managing time, cost, resources, quality, and clinical scope
- Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical operations, influencing strategy and decision-making and communicating plans and results across all levels, including executive management.
- Plan and manage budgets, resources, and operational activities within the clinical development plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Oversee trial-related contracts, provide operational clinical input to key strategic documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Foster innovation and operational excellence by developing new ideas, improving processes, and coaching, training, and mentoring professionals in Clinical Project Management.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on resources, competencies, and processes, while supporting Clinical Development Plans and related activities.
- Independently engage with Global Business Development and external partners, contribute to in- or out-licensing opportunities, lead risk assessments, and act as an integrator between teams.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
• Academic degree in life sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in drug development, with a strong knowledge of pharma and drug development processes.
• Expertise in operational excellence, process improvement, and project management.
• Experience in managing strategic projects and portfolios
• Strong understanding of functional area interactions within clinical trials and processes impacting trial conduct.
• Passionate, self-motivated, and result-driven.
• Strong communicator and collaborator
• Proactive, decision-making, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to prioritise and manage complexity and ambiguity effectively.
• Demonstrates integrity, inspires trust, and motivates and empowers others.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
