Your role

You will be part of a dedicated and highly skilled External Manufacturing team based in Ballerup, Denmark. Our team collaborates across functions, including Supply Chain, Commercial, Global Quality, and Regulatory, to deliver strategic projects that drive LEO Pharma’s success. We value teamwork, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence. The external manufacturing is a growing area in LEO Pharma with many exciting projects commencing.

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead strategic projects that are critical to LEO Pharma’s ability to deliver high-quality products at competitive costs. You will work across functions and with external partners to drive innovation, optimise processes, and expand our manufacturing capabilities.

Primary work tasks:

• Lead cross-functional project teams (Technical, Quality, Regulatory, Planning, Procurement, Finance) and steering committees
• Drive alignment of project scope with internal and external stakeholders
• Project manage technology transfers, new product introductions, and improvement projects
• Prepare project briefs, plans, and budgets while ensuring compliance with EHS, cGMP, and business standards
• Negotiate with external partners and represent LEO Pharma in strategic collaborations

In addition to these tasks, you will contribute to the continuous optimisation and standardisation of project management processes, ensuring excellence in execution.

Your qualifications

We are looking for an experienced project manager who have worked in a global context before and interacted with stakeholders at all levels. You who can bring knowledge of manufacturing in Pharma and navigate in complex, cross-functional projects.

Your background:

• University degree or Master of Science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Solid business acumen and significant experience of a pharmaceutical production and supply chain
• Knowledge and experience in Biologics Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing and technology transfers
• Experience working within a cGMP, quality and highly regulated environment
• Proven experience of leading and driving complex, cross-functional pharmaceutical projects
