Role Description

SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and oversight of the company’s global SuccessFactors landscape. The role ensures that HR solutions are stable, compliant, and well integrated with the wider SAP environment, including SAP S/4HANA. The position works closely with HR, IT, and implementation partners to support both ongoing operations and future transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Define and own the end‑to‑end SAP SuccessFactors architecture and solution design across core modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation), balancing global standards with local needs.
  • Translate HR business requirements into scalable, supportable SAP SuccessFactors solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Design and govern integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA, and third‑party HR/payroll systems, ensuring consistent use of integration technologies and data standards.
  • Act as design authority for SAP SuccessFactors changes and initiatives, reviewing solution designs, configurations, and enhancements to ensure quality, compliance, and architectural integrity.
  • Partner with HR, IT, system integrators, and other solution architects to support implementations, upgrades, release planning, demand intake, scope definition, and high‑level effort estimates.
  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring SAP SuccessFactors releases, identifying simplification opportunities, and stabilizing the overall HR application landscape.

 

Your qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including a lead or architect role.  
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors platform and foundation (incl. core architecture, 3rd party integrations)
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Central and experience with additional SuccessFactors modules. (e.g. EC, ECP, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation).
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations using SAP CPI and standard SAP interfaces.
  • Experience with Identity authentication service and SuccessFactors Integrations center is a plus
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration concepts is a plus
  • Experience with HR processes and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
