Your role
As Principle Medical Advisor GMA Early Portfolio, you will be a core driver of our medical strategy for pipeline programs, ensuring patient needs guide every decision. You will lead scientific and strategic activities in close collaboration with cross-functional global teams, external experts, and affiliates - always with a clear focus on creating value beyond the skin.
Primary responsibilities:
- Lead the development and ongoing updates of the Global Medical Strategy and plan for early portfolio assets, aligned with asset and brand strategies.
- Provide strong co-leadership in strategic forums (GPT and Early Strategy Teams teams), driving the early value story and long-term strategic direction.
- Contribute to Clinical Development Plans, including defining endpoints, identifying patient populations, and optimizing trial execution.
- Drive integrated evidence plans and lead clinical/real-world studies where relevant.
- Shape scientific narratives and lead medical communication/education activities for assigned areas.
You will develop and maintain relationships with External Experts, gather insights from affiliates, contribute to publication plans, support regulatory and health economics actions, assess Business Development opportunities, and prepare pre-launch activities for assets moving into late-stage development.
Your qualifications
You have a strong medical and scientific foundation paired with proven ability to shape strategy and deliver impact in a complex, global setting.
To succeed in the role you have:
- Medical Doctor (MD), PharmD or PhD in natural sciences - Dermatology board certification is advantageous.
- +6 years of Medical Affairs experience, ideally across global, regional and affiliate levels.
- Experience in dermatology (preferably with topical agents) and/or immunology
- Proven track record in both product launches and mature product management.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
