Your Role

You will play a crucial role in the development of new topical formulations and drug products for clinical phases. This is a great opportunity for a team player with excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for development of innovative products for patients living with dermatologic diseases. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate the stability, purity, and potency of formulations 

• Record data accurately and maintain detailed laboratory notebooks 

• Prepare, review and approve documentation of scientific experiments incl. review, calculation and reporting results 

• Participate in the optimization of formulation processes 

• Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure that all formulations meet regulatory requirements 

• Be responsible for equipment and processes to ensure laboratories are operating under good scientific practice.  

Your Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Formulation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual who is passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and has a strong work ethic. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation 

• Strong knowledge of formulation principles and techniques with hands-on experience from a formulation laboratory in pharmaceutical development 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 

• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and industry standards

You will join our dynamic team in Ballerup – a group of 11 dedicated scientists and technicians with a shared passion for designing and developing topical formulations within Pharmaceutical Development. 

We work closely together and across LEO Pharma to ensure the successful development of new drug products that make a real difference for patients.
