Then you could be the person we are looking for, for the role as Principal in our FP&A and Strategic Finance team. 

About the role: 
The role sits within the FP&A and Strategic Finance team, part of Business Finance, based in Ballerup, Denmark. We are responsible for the consolidated LEO Pharma Group financial performance including global ownership of internal management reporting towards senior management, Board of Directors and shareholders, performance management, as well as budgeting and forecasts. 

We support strategic decision-making through connecting short- and long-term financial planning. We contribute to evaluating and provide recommendations in regards to larger investment opportunities related for example to our pipeline, potential partnerships, or M&A, pivotal for LEO Pharma to realize its long-term ambitions. Last but not least, the team plays a key role in preparing LEO Pharma for an IPO in the near future. 

The role entails a broad organizational exposure across functions, as well as a high degree of exposure towards senior management. In the role, you will be a given a high degree of responsibility, and expected to drive forward efforts together with the team. For the right candidate, the position will provide opportunities to take on further responsibilities over time, as well as potentially move into a leadership role, subject to performance. Key responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis and advice to CEO and CFO on operational as well as strategic matters ensuring financial transparency and value optimization in decision-making.
• Drive consolidated group monthly as well as quarterly reporting, budgeting and long-term business plan in line with LEO Pharma’s financial reporting and planning cycles.
• Proactively develop, analyze, interpret, and present financial results and insights to drive performance management and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Preparing, driving and communicating analyzes and evaluation of larger strategic and investment decisions, with a focus on optionality.
• Contribute to developing robust financial models to support decision making for business development opportunities and other strategic decisions.
• Be a key contributor to preparing LEO Pharma for life as a listed company.

Qualifications:

• +5 years relevant experience, ideally with exposure to FP&A as well as business development/M&A, and hold a Master’s degree within business or economics – experience from the pharmaceutical sector is a plus but not a requirement.
• High personal drive with a proactive and hands-on approach, being ready to take responsibility from day one, as well as with ambition to move into a leadership role within a couple of years.
• Affinity to fast-paced environments with changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels at the same time.
• Strong business acumen, ability to apply a holistic approach and “connect the dots”, while executing with high quality standards.
• Solid financial toolbox and strong financial modelling skills, including experience with three-statement models (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow), financial valuation, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Has effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to present complex issues in a simple and structured approach.
• A solution-oriented mind-set, is resilient, learns fast and are seen as a team player with a positive attitude towards your job and colleagues.

• You will become part of the FP&A and Strategic Finance team, anchored in Ballerup, Denmark together with five colleagues and be part of the broader Finance function in LEO Pharma. 
• You will report to the Head of FP&A and Strategic Finance.
