You will work closely with internal functions such as Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, as well as external collaborators and advisory boards. 

Your role
As a Medical lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving clinical development projects and ensuring the highest standards of medical expertise. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for shaping the medical and scientific content of clinical development plans and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

• Drive the medical and scientific content of the Clinical Development Plans (CDP) and contribute to trial protocols and regulatory documents.
• Act as the Medical Expert on clinical trials, involved in the oversight of medical monitoring and adverse event coding.
• Provide medical advice and maintain scientific knowledge within your therapeutic area.
• Engage in regulatory interactions, such as IND submissions and pre-IND meetings.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and participating in due diligence activities.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced medical doctor with a solid scientific background and a passion for clinical drug development. Dermatology experience will be preferred. 

• Medical Degree (MD) with clinical experience and scientific background. Prior industry experience within clinical development is a pre-requisite.
• Proven experience in regulatory interactions and clinical trial conduct.
• A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the entire value chain of clinical drug development
• Expertise in GCP, clinical research methodologies and working in a matrix organisation.

Your ability to collaborate across teams, navigate cross-cultural environments, and demonstrate innovation will be key to your success in this role.
