Your role
As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing clinical trials, as well as serving as a subject matter expert in dermatology. You will provide medical and scientific leadership while partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to drive clinical excellence and achieve strategic goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Being responsible for Clinical development plans, designing, developing, and overseeing clinical trials, ensuring they are scientifically robust, ethically sound, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Acting as the key member of Global Project Teams (GPTs) as subject matter expert in clinical development and dermatology, driving cross-functional alignment on strategy, risks, and milestones and staying abreast of scientific literature and treatment guidelines to provide informed medical and scientific advice.
- Project leadership of the Clinical Sub-team, ensuring medical quality and timely clinical execution.
- Supporting the preparation of trial related documents and regulatory submissions, including participating in key interactions with Regulatory authorities (e.g., IND submissions).
- Partnering with internal teams to offer scientific support, deliver staff training, and maintain deep expertise within the therapeutic area.
- Capturing insights from clinical practice, supporting real-world evidence initiatives, and bringing external perspectives into the organization to shape strategies and development plans.
- Involvement in business development, including input to due diligence and in-licensing activities

Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- A master’s degree in medicine (MD) and a scientific degree (PhD or equivalent).
- A board-certified dermatologist and clinical experience in dermatology, including experience in treating rare diseases.
- Proven medical and scientific leadership in a global, matrixed R&D environment (ideally serving on a GPT or equivalent decision body).
- Strong expertise in clinical trial methodology, Good Clinical Practice, drug development, regulatory interactions, and clinical trial documentation.
- Proven record of cross-functional influence in a matrix organization
- Accountability for medical and scientific content in internal and external documents.
- Effective collaboration and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent scientific writing skills and experience providing medical and scientific guidance.
- Fluency in English.
