Your role

You will bridge Global Medical Affairs with local affiliate medical affairs to operationalize the medical affairs strategy and uphold the highest standards of medical excellence across markets. You will also build and lead a Medical Affairs community in IO to unify affiliate teams, drive best-practice exchange, and enable efficient, compliant collaboration with external partners and commercial teams..

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Bridging Global Medical Affairs and local affiliates to operationalize the strategy and uphold consistent medical standards across markets.
  • Creating, maintaining and running a Medical Affairs community in IO to unify practices and drive efficiency.
  • Driving global and regional impact by engaging the dermatology community, shaping KOL/HCP engagement, and aligning education needs with asset strategies and congress initiatives.
  • Ensuring that capabilities and initiatives meet regulatory and ethical standards as well as enabling effective external collaborations


The preferred location of the role is Denmark, but it can also be in one of the European affiliates.

 

Your qualifications

You bring a strong scientific background and extensive Medical Affairs experience, with proven leadership across global, regional and affiliate settings. You are comfortable working across functions, engaging external stakeholders, and ensuring compliant, high‑impact medical programs that support product lifecycle and strategic goals.

 

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD or PhD in natural sciences) and 10+ years in Medical Affairs including Global/Regional and affiliate experience; Clinical Development experience is a plus.
  • Leadership experience at country and above‑country levels in pharma, with hands‑on involvement in product launches and marketed products.
  • Substantial expertise in biologics and specialist care (dermatology preferred) and solid understanding of drug development.
  • Strong people leadership, training and stakeholder‑management skills; proven ability to partner with Global Medical Affairs asset teams, Market Access and Commercial functions.
  • Business‑level English, familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and compliance for medical affairs, and willingness to travel up to 20%.
