Indirect Tax - Senior Tax Manager

Your role

You will support business with VAT advice and determine guiding principles. Including ensuring implementation of the advice and be responsible for ensuring proper VAT treatment of specific transactions and set-up in LEO.You will also lead M&A or alike activities from a VAT perspective and be responsible for designing and ensuring process for consumptions tax reporting.

•    Oversee and manage all aspects of VAT and excise duties.
•    Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the company
•    Drive and set the agenda for certain VAT optimization projects
•    Develop and enforce tax policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
•    Drive initiatives to enhance our global compliance footprint.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax compliance into business operations.
•    Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and their impact on the business.
•    Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services.
•    Conduct internal audits and manage external tax audits.
•    Train and mentor junior staff on indirect tax matters.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

•    Master degree and 5+ years of experience within VAT
•    A somewhat knowledge about excise duties.
•    Pharma business knowledge is a benefit
•    Good at networking, planning, align with relevant stakeholders
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Team player with strong collaboration abilities
•    Strong analytical skills

Your Team

Join our dynamic team of five dedicated specialists, each an expert in their field. Our team thrives on flexibility, collaboration, and shared goals. In this role, your primary focus will be on VAT and Excise Duty, but you'll also contribute to broader initiatives within the Global Tax department, gaining exposure to a variety of interesting projects. You will be reporting to the Head of Global Tax.
