Your role
As the Global Program Lead, your objective will be to lead the Global Asset Team (GAT) in developing program strategies, building and maintaining a high-performing team, and executing the agreed development plan within budget and timelines. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic and tactical plan for the asset and needs to ensure optimal timing to launch, a label reflecting the agreed TPP and that the projects stay within the budget frame,
 
Your main tasks will be to:

•    Develop a phase-appropriate, cross-functional program plan with the Global Asset Team (GAT), including alternate scenarios and budget requirements.
•    Set the program vision and develop effective cross-functional strategies and plans to achieve the program goals.
•    Lead the GAT to develop and refine the integrated development plan for the program and execute the governance-approved strategy.
•    Maximize the value of the program by managing quality, costs/resources, time, opportunity, and risks.
•    Ensure that the development program considers the competitive situation and the newest scientific knowledge of the target, the disease and indication, as well as the patient need.Participate in strategy discussions on asset indications i.e. rare disease and business relevant indications
•    Utilize cross-functional drug development knowledge and experience to identify project and portfolio risks, challenge functional experts, and drive risk management processes in the GAT
•    Challenge teams to think about strategic options from a cross-functional, enterprise lens.  Ability to understand complex topics and bring insights into a cohesive strategy
•    Handle communication to internal and external stakeholders, achieving alignment in a matrix organization.
•    Monitor and ensure effective communication between key stakeholders, including functions, major geographies, and governance bodies.

 

Your qualifications 


To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
•    University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., Cand. Pharm, MD or PhD) in a life science discipline with at least 7-10 years´ pharmaceutical drug development experience.
•    Excellent stakeholder skills and extensive experience in Project Management of early to late-stage assets
•    Strong team leader with proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve optimal performance 
•    Profound understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, understanding functional roles and responsibilities in Development, supply, and commercialization of medicinal products.
•    Strong communication skill of strategies and plans 
•    Ability to understand and summarize scientific data and to present data and information in an impactful and concise way.
