Your Role


As a Global Program Director, you will be at the core of program management for assigned assets, driving their successful execution from strategy to launch. You’ll collaborate across functions, manage complex projects, and ensure that our programs deliver on their timelines, budgets, and goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

•    Collaborate closely with the Global Program Head and Early Commercial Lead or Global Brand Lead on ensuring a coherent and aligned strategy adding value for patients and LEO Pharma.
•    Driving the Global Program Team forward to develop and execute stage-appropriate, cross-functional plans that align with strategic priorities.
•    Compiling and maintaining the Integrated Product Strategy and Integrated Product Plan in collaboration with the GPT.
•    Preparing for governance interactions, enabling effective decision-making by compiling and presenting key materials.
•    Managing risks and opportunities, driving risk management processes, and integrating them into decision-making and planning.
•    Ensuring monthly updates to project management data in the central portfolio management system.
•    Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues, create solutions, and drive alignment across matrixed teams.
•    Developing strong and effective partnerships across internal and external teams to ensure high performance and successful asset development.
•    Monitoring execution progress against plans and holding teams accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
•    Proactively fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and speed to maximize the value of the assigned asset.
•    Play a key role in the implementation of our new project-centric model across the organization.

 

Your Qualifications


We are looking for an experienced project leader with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical development and exceptional project management skills. You’ll bring:

 

•    A university degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., Cand. Pharm, MD, or PhD) in a life science discipline.
•    7-10 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience, with expertise in project management, including experience with project management systems and tools.
•    Strong finance acumen, including knowledge of budgeting, tracking, and resourcing.
•    Several years of experience working in complex, cross-functional, and multinational teams.
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and documents.
•    Proven ability to drive execution, push for results, and manage large-scale global programs with quality and precision.
•    Profound understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, including S&D, supply, and commercialization.
•     Experience with rare diseases is considered an advantage.
•    A self-motivated and resourceful approach, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    A global mindset with the ability to lead strategically and collaboratively across teams.

 

Your New Team


You will report to the VP, Program Management and Development Operations, while working closely with a Global Program Head and an Early Commercial Lead or Global Brand Lead as well as cross-functional team members, including stakeholders from various departments. As part of the high-performing Global Program Team. you’ll collaborate with functional managers and matrix leaders to ensure seamless communication and execution of asset strategies. Success in this role depends on your ability to inspire and enable teamwork across global, remote, and multi-disciplinary teams.
