Your role

As Head of Medical Affairs Excellence, you will define and maintain global Medical Excellence standards for countries, including what good looks like for Medical Directors, MSL teams, medical planning, external engagement, insight generation, scientific exchange and compliant field execution.

Your role will focus on three core pillars:

• Process and Learning Excellence
  Strengthen core Medical Affairs processes, training, digital enablement and capability development to ensure global priorities are practical, scalable and adopted in daily execution.

• Governance and Compliance Excellence
  Establish clear governance, quality standards and compliant ways of working, including leading a Medical Excellence governance forum to review adoption, performance, risks and improvement actions.

• Strategy and Execution Excellence

  Enable high-quality medical strategy planning and field execution by defining global standards, playbooks, engagement models and KPIs for country medical performance, MSL effectiveness, insight generation and launch/brand execution.

The role offers:

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• MD, PharmD, HCP qualification, or equivalent relevant medical/scientific background.
• Significant experience in Medical Affairs, including global/regional and affiliate experience.
• Proven leadership experience at country and above-country level within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Significant experience in biologics and specialist care; dermatology experience is preferred but not required.
• Hands-on experience with product launches, marketed products, medical planning, and compliant field execution.
